This is a kind of comic that I've always wanted to make, but never had the chance to.

Now that I have the idea, I'm all set. I'll update this alongside DNMS.

It's 100% ink on paper. Nothing is CG. There is only black, and white, hence the title 'Grayless'. I didn't even use digital text for narration or dialogue. I felt kinda free... not having to depend on special computer effects but rather totally dependant on my drawing, writing and inking skills.

I hate the Deus Ex Machina element of most fairy tales, that something good inexplicably happens to the protagonist even though they did basically nothing to change their fate. I hate those stories where the princess didn't do anything and yet a prince charming for no really good reason appears and rescues them.

Well guess what. In this story, there is no prince or princess charming for the main character. There is no fairy godmother either, and there sure as heck isn't gonna be a freakin' genie in a bloody lamp. However, for the record, all those characters in Kingdom Hearts including the blue genie dude are cool.

Don't worry, like all other fairy tales, this one has a good ending...

...but how he gets that ending is perhaps far more bizarre (but more plausible) than any other fairy tale out there. You'll understand everything once that happy ending comes.

So, please enjoy reading this abnormal little story... as I have enjoyed drawing it.
