Prince Charming.

Remember those old fairy tales? The ones with a princess or some other young dame locked up in a strange place, and a Prince Charming would rescue them?

Some Prince Charmings saved the ladies with smarts (like in Rapunzel where he used her hair), others with the hilariously stupid ' Power of kiss '.

Regardless, all the Prince Charmings were essentially noble-hearted men, and whenever they reached the pretty prisoner they'd free her.

Those were 'Romantic Prince Charmings'. Here's a Modern Prince Charming:
